I’m having mesquite smoked brisket, mashed potatoes, asparagus, stuffed mushrooms, zucchini and summer squash, and some lovely moscato from Costco. Dessert is that huge chocolate cake you also get at Costco, and of course coffee. I’m deep in my happy place.

Half of my meals for the last couple weeks have ended up being tex mex. You could say it’s been a good period for me.

I bought one of those cakes yesterday at Costco for my last day at work.

Needless to say, it was a hit. Everyone loved it.

I still have a slice in the fridge. Thanks for reminding me. I’ll go and wash it down with an iced coffee.

I hate you with a fiery passion right now. And by hate, I mean, I am extremely, incredibly jealous. Heh.

I’m about to eat a Totino’s pepperoni pizza. And chase it down with a Sangria flavored soda. Though, I do have some Shiner in the fridge, so I might drink that instead.

Maybe I’ll have mesquite smoked brisket for lunch tomorrow. There’s a great little place not far from my office and I am in LOVE with their fully loaded baked potato topped with chopped brisket and house made BBQ sauce. Sooooooo good.

Cajun turkey breast with red beans and wild rice is nearly done in the Crock-Pot. Smells really, really good in here right now.
